FAQs

  • Are loan/rental items available?
    If your appliance requires further inspection and repair offsite, then we will organize a loan item in the interim if you are in warranty with your supplier. If you are out of warranty then we can organize a loan item at a daily fee, the fee depends on the product type.
  • Do I have to be home when the repair takes place?
    We understand that it may not always be possible to take time out of our busy schedules and that is why our trusted technicians can complete the repair without you needing to be there. All you must do is send us something in writing to confirm the agreement with access instructions and the disclaimer pre-signed. It’s that easy!
  • Can I bring my appliance in to your store?
    Sharp Service is a mobile repair service only. Arrangements can be made for our technician to collect your appliance if it meets our takeaway requirements, and they can carry out the repairs at our private workshop.
  • How long will my repair take?
    The time taken for repairs is influenced by several factors. We aim to complete all repairs start to finish within 5 working days however this is not always possible. It may be because of a delayed part or that the fault could have other faulty parts which is why when our technician goes on-site to complete the fault find then they will have a definitive diagnosis. Certain products might have major faults that our technicians can’t repair so a request for a loan item until a replacement machine has been purchased by you if it’s out of warranty or until approval has been made from the manufacturer (in warranty). Our on-site visits shouldn’t take longer than 1-2 hours depending on the repair type.
  • Does Sharp Service have a warranty period?
    Sharp Service offer a 30-day warranty period for re-repair for the same fault. Sharp Service’s warranty does not cover any new faults for different parts on the same product.
  • Why should I use Sharp Service?
    We offer competitive repair service and cost and clear communication. Our focus is on fixing it once and fixing it right so that you can get every stretch of life from your product. When things break it can be frustrating and that’s why we aim to make the repair process seamless and quick so that you don’t have to suffer the consequence.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept Visa and Mastercard securely through our mobile machine.
